1. Agreement to these terms #
By using Jammy, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the bot or the website. If you add the bot to a server on behalf of a community, you confirm that you are allowed to do so.
2. The service #
Jammy is a free Discord music bot with a web dashboard. It plays music from third-party platforms, shows lyrics, offers playlists, favorites, statistics and a music quiz. Features may be added, changed or removed over time.
3. Eligibility and accounts #
You must meet Discord's minimum age and follow the Discord Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. You use the website by logging in with your Discord account, and you are responsible for activity on your account.
4. Acceptable use #
You agree not to:
- spam commands, overload the bot or try to make it crash;
- exploit bugs, bypass limits or attack the bot, the website or its infrastructure;
- scrape the website or use it in an automated way;
- use the bot to play or share content you do not have the right to use;
- upload playlist names or images that are illegal, hateful, sexual, violent or that infringe someone else's rights;
- impersonate others or use the service to harass anyone.
5. Your content #
You keep ownership of the playlist names and cover images you create. You give us permission to store and display them so the service can work for you. You confirm that you have the right to upload them.
We may remove content that breaks these terms or the law.
6. Music and third-party services #
Jammy does not host music. It plays content from platforms such as YouTube, Spotify and SoundCloud. That content belongs to its owners, and the terms of those platforms also apply to you. Lyrics come from LRCLIB and are shown for personal use only. We are not responsible for content provided by third parties.
7. Server administrators #
Administrators who add Jammy to a server decide how it is set up there, for example the DJ role, the music channel and 24/7 mode, and are responsible for how it is used in their community.
8. Availability and changes #
We try to keep Jammy running, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. We may pause the service for maintenance, change it or stop it at any time.
9. Suspension and termination #
We may limit or block access for users or servers that break these terms or put the service at risk. You can stop using the service at any time by removing the bot from your server and deleting your data from My profile.
10. Our intellectual property #
The name Jammy, its logo, design, website and software belong to the operator. You may not copy or reuse them without permission. Discord and the names of music platforms are trademarks of their respective owners.
11. Disclaimer of warranties #
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", free of charge and without any warranty, express or implied, as far as the law allows.
12. Limitation of liability #
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damage or loss caused by using or not being able to use the bot or the website, including lost data or interruptions. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Governing law #
These terms are governed by the laws of the country where the operator of Jammy is established. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
